Design Consultant Ltd. is an architectural firm that was registered as a business in 2018 and got its registrations with relevant construction bodies by April 2021. Prior to the firm’s operation in Malawi, the principal Architect, Architect Alessandro Parisotto had about 25 years work experience in Italy, Libya, Ethiopia, Malawi and other parts of the world.
The philosophy is to design in a way that responds to the context of a given project and add value to it according to the multiple factors present in a development activity.
Circumstances surrounding the project are always unique and we strive to provide the best architectural solutions.
With the achievement of USGBC - LEED GA accreditation from 2022, the studio also strives to bring in Green Sustainable Solutions expertise through our designs. They can either be hi-tech or passive low-tech solutions. In particular, the experience in Africa has expanded our capacity to use indigenous materials.
A strong part of our recent works has International No Profit institutions as partners in cooperation project.
We have for a long time worked in integrated teams, where respect and collaboration with other professions is a core element.
A timely and concise relationship with clients has also been one of the highlights our firm. We use this skill in offering pre-contract, design, post contract and contract management services.
