Chiponde One Stop Border Post: Malawi-Mozambique Border, Mangochi

The Nacala Corridor enhancement project included the creation of a state-of-the-art One Stop Border Post (OSBP) at the Chiponde (Malawi) and Mandimba (Mozambique) border. Designed to optimize traffic flow, ensure sustainability, and guarantee long-term durability, the facility features a streamlined layout with dedicated sections: the left side for efficient commercial clearance and the right side for seamless passenger processing. This project aims to enhance cross-border trade and travel while prioritizing operational efficiency and environmental resilience.
